NEWBORN SESSION FAQ
When should I book my session?
Newborn photos are typically taken when the baby is less than 3 weeks old so that they are still sleepy and able to fit into all the cute poses and props. Because of the short time frame, sessions are best booked as early as possible to secure a spot for your little bundle.
If you are past the 3 week mark and want photos, feel free to reach out and I'll guide you through what to expect and what we'll be able to capture.
Where would my session take place?
Newborn sessions take place in my home studio in Rechavia, Jerusalem. It's a short 10- minute drive from both ramat eshkol and romema. Yes- right next to Greens;)
If you prefer to stay home, I also offer in-home lifestyle newborn sessions. We'll use natural light and your space to capture relaxed, candid moments as a family with your new baby:)
Do you provide all the props that I see in your photos?
Yes! You do not have to bring a thing to the session besides for your new baby of course:) I provide all wraps, bonnets, headbands, and props. However, if you would like photos with a special family heirloom or gift that you received feel free to bring it along so that we can incorporate it in your session.
Are all your props cleaned?
Cleanliness is taken really seriously here! All fabric wraps and blankets are laundered between each session. Everything else is wiped down with clorox and desanitized.
What should we wear for our newborn session?
For parents and siblings, I recommend classic timeless pieces in neutral or soft colors- white, cream, pastels photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. Try to skip busy prints, logos, or bold patterns. Feel free to send me a photo of your options if you want a second opinion!
How long will my session take?
Newborn sessions typically take between 1-3 hours.
The experience is calm and baby-led with no rushing.
How do I receive my images?
Within 2 weeks of your session you will receive your images as full resolution digital downloads. There is also an option for the images to be put on a custom usb if you would like.
